Pricing Page
Many of these sections are self-explanatory. For the thoroughness of this guide, we will go through each one by one. You can skip to the ones you may have a question about:
- Active?: This is where you toggle whether the plan you're working on is active or not. This is useful when you have multiple products and one of them is for a limited time or limited licenses so you want to remove this plan from your sales page, but want to keep it around for future use.
- Plan Name: The name of your plan, for example, "Starup" or "Business" or "Gold" or "Platinum". We recommend using the names of the plans that resemble your website's pricing if possible. If the LTD plan is not the same as your website plan, then do not name them this way. It will be confusing to buyers and might cause issues. If you do not want to name the plans, you can go with the standard "Plan A", "Plan B" and so on.
- Discount: Here's where you tell the users what percentage of discount you're offering versus your website pricing. Usually, LTDs run at 90-95% discount from a yearly payment to that plan. This is totally up to you, just make sure that you're calculating the discount correctly from the Original Price to the Sale Price (PitchGround Price).
- $360 would be my Original Price for this plan
- PitchGround Price: This is the price you will be selling your codes for, so let's expand on this! Note: If you've run a Featured Deal before, and are now going to start a Marketplace Deal, we recommend you keep the same plans/pricing you had during your campaign, to begin with. You can always modify them later! One of the most important steps in this guide will be the way you price your offer. Here is the list of pricing we've seen succeed at PitchGround time and time again: $49 $97 $145 $197 $245 $397 (Unlimited-Features type of plans) $997 (Unlimited-Features type of plans) We highly recommend you tailor your plans/features to match these price points. The biggest mistake we see Vendors make in terms of pricing is either underpricing their offer or overpricing it; both are deadly to your campaign. That is why we've given you the price points above, so you have an idea of where to start, tailor your plans accordingly, and publish plans with that pricing. Do you need every single pricing option we showed you above? No Do you HAVE to use the pricing we showed you above? No Should you use the price points we showed you above? Yes Having said that, you should always strive to have at least one plan with the $49 price tag at a minimum. We've spent years researching and split testing different price points, and sales pages with plans that start at $49 get 10x more views than those that start higher. "My product is cheap or very low cost in maintenance. Should I price it below $49?" No "I want to stand out from the competition and offer the same type of product for a lot less. Should I go below $49?" No What you're doing if you're going lower is you've started a pricing war that will drive the price down fast. This is not good for anyone in the LTD ecosystem. At first glance, it seems like buyers win out with ridiculously low-priced LTDs. The problem is that when someone is buying an LTD for $19 or $25, that leaves very little money in the Vendor's pocket to continue building and growing their business. Did they really win if the buyers get an LTD for a product, and the company goes out of business in a year? There is only one exception to coming under $49, and that would be when you're starting your campaign with an Early Bird discount or a limited-license discount to get traction for your sales page. This is a great strategy and one you can employ to gather reviews and get the buzz going about your product. Experimenting with Plans/Pricing is fine. Just make sure you do not underprice or overprice your product, and you will be fine. Focus your energy on providing value, and stand out by providing features your competitors don't have and customers need. Make sure you're consistent. No buyer wants to hear that the offer they paid $49 for last month is now $29, and next week it's $19. That makes people feel cheated out of a better opportunity, so keep that in mind when working on your plans/pricing. Lastly, when should you price anything above $245? If you have a product that is very expensive and demands that kind of pricing, by all means, do it. If you do not, then reserve these bigger pricing points for plans with "Unlimited Features" such as "Unlimited Users", "Unlimited Page Views", etc. A great formula for figuring out if your plan is a good deal is if the LTD pricing is ~90% the cost of 1 year worth of access to your product. That shows the buyer high face value and motivates them to invest themselves in the product to make it better with time.
- Key Features: List one by one, the features you're including with each plan. Remember to include future features and updates here if you are offering them.
- Coupon Codes: PitchGround will generate 5,000 coupon codes for each plan you want to sell at PitchGround. You will then need to take those 5,000 coupons and make them redeemable inside your application when people sign up. We will go over how to build a registration page later in this guide in The Basics: Your Product section.
- Redemption Instructions: Here, you will walk the buyer step by step on how to redeem your offer. It is highly recommended that your redemption instructions be at most 3 steps. If it takes more than 3 steps to redeem this offer, there is a high chance your buyers will get frustrated and not even register with you. Remember that registering/redeeming the code is not the same as onboarding. We covered onboarding here so you can go back and refresh on that if needed. Here is what this looks like:

3 Easy Steps to Redeem
If you have a few steps to your redeem instructions, just remember to follow this formula:
- Number your steps so that users have clear step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
- Make sure you have a link to your redeem page.
- Make sure to add a line about their coupon code. This is not required, as PitchGround will add the coupon code to their dashboard anyway, but it's best practice. If you want to display the user's code, use this: {{COUPON_CODE}}
- Make sure you have added a way for the users to contact you with any support questions.
Here is a great example of how to present more complex coupon redemption instructions:

- Payments: You will get paid automatically every month starting 60 days from the day of your first sale. At the end of the campaign, you will need to wait 60 days again to make sure that all sales have already passed the refund period, and you will receive your final payment. How do I get paid? You can get paid via ACH (U.S. Bank Accounts), Wire Transfer, or PayPal. You will be onboarded to our automatic payment system via email, so make sure you're checking your registered email and add "[email protected]" to your contacts list so that you never miss an important email from us. How do I know how much am I going to get paid? You will get complete sales statistics, refunds, and upcoming payout amounts inside the Vendors Dashboard in real-time.
