In this document, we will aim to answer most of the questions you may come across while considering bringing your product to the PitchGround Marketplace. Please read this document in its entirety and make sure you understand every point prior to submitting your product to Marketplace. Let's begin!

How do the sales happen?

All sales happen on our website, all transactions happen on PitchGround.com and the buyer will get a code from us. This code will be redeemable on your side, please follow the best practices on creating a registration page found here.

How can I see when sales are made?

You will have access to a dashboard that will have all the analytics of your sales in real-time. This is what it looks like:

How and when do I get paid?

We use Tipalti to automate the payouts for all of our partners. Your sales are considered mature after 60 days have passed which is when the refund period is over, so you will start receiving payouts after 60 days. You will be eligible to withdraw your share of the revenue after 60 days of being active in Marketplace and you meet the minimum requirement for withdrawal which is $100 USD. You will be eligible to withdraw 50% of your share for non-matured sales, and 100% of your share from matured sales (sales that have crossed the 60 day refund period threshold.)

How is the sales revenue split?

The revenue from each sale is split the following way:

  • 70% of the revenue from each sale goes to you.
  • 30% of the revenue from each sale goes to PitchGround.

Are there any fees? From your 70% of the revenue, you will pay the following fees:

  • Refund processing fees associated with buyers refunding a code purchased from you. These are fees charged by PayPal or Stripe, depending on which payment method the buyer used. If a buyer refunds to a PG Wallet as credit, there will be no refund fees associated with that.
  • Tipalti payout processing fees. These fees are charged per transaction per payment method and are deducted from the amount submitted for payment. Please note these fees are handled by Tipalti and are subject to change.

If you want to get paid in a currency other than United States Dollars (USD) - then you will be subject to foreign exchange fees by Tipalti. This varies depending on your location and currency, so you will get the details directly from Tipalti when you fill out the payout form.

What about income taxes?

Tipalti will ask you to fill out a tax form when you sign up to get paid as a partner. All income tax reporting related questions will be answered by Tipalti as you fill out the tax form.
