The first step is the General Info page, this is what it looks like:
General Info
Many of these sections are self-explanatory. For the thoroughness of this guide, we will go through each one by one. You can skip to the ones you may have a question about:
- Name of the Product: Seems simple enough, yet if your product is, for example, called "Communication by Little SaaS" then you should simply enter "Communication" in the box. Keep it simple, keep it memorable!
- Slug: The Slug section has a minimum character requirement of 6 characters. If your company or product's name is less than 6 characters, then add a suffix to it like "-app" or "-ltd" for example: If my product's name is Bloo, then my slug will be "bloo-app" or "bloo-ltd" or "bloo-deal" any of those will work. You cannot use special characters, other than the "dash ( - )" symbol in the slug name.
- Date From: This is the date you want to start your campaign. Date To: This is the date you want to end your campaign. We recommend entering a start and end date that are at least 3 months apart. It will take you a few weeks to gather reviews, update your product, and really gather steam on your sales page.
- Website Title: It's best practice to enter your product name and the #1 benefit in a very short sentence. For example: Scalenut - Create High-Quality Content in Minutes using AI
- Website URL: The full URL to your product, for example: https://www.scalenut.com/
- Knowledgebase: Enter the URL to your Knowledgebase, for example: https://help.pitchground.com/
- Facebook Group: Enter the URL to your Facebook Group. If you don't have one yet, create one. For example: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PitchGround/
- Roadmap: Enter the URL to your roadmap, for example: https://updates.scalify.com/roadmap
